Everybody will experience back pain at one point in their time. Back pain has many different causes and comes in many different forms such as lower, mid, and upper back pain. There are many simple things you can do to help relieve your pain.
One of my favorite ways to relieve the pain is through exercise. A simple exercise like walking can help relieve your back pain by helping build muscle in your back especially your lower back. The more muscles in your back the more aligned your spine is which is a key part in relieving the pain.
Another great way to help your pain is by the use of an inversion table. Inversion tables are not that expensive and have been used by people for a long time. Using an inversion table is really easy and anyone can use it. You just lie down on the table and invert your body upside down to about 20 to 30 degrees. Using the table helps by decompressing your spine. One of the biggest causes of back pain comes from damage to the disks in the spine. Using the table helps decompress the spine and allow the discs to heal.
Finally another way to lessen your pain is by acupuncture. This is a procedure that comes from the Chinese. It involves sticking a whole bunch of little needles in the affected area this time your back. The principle is that pain relieving opioids are released which calm the nervous system. The procedure should be done one to three times a week for a couple weeks in the beginning. Acupuncture can coast anywhere from $60 - $120 a session but is covered by some medical insurance plans. It is also tax deductible because it is a medical expense.
