Spore Strategy

Spore is an interesting game for PC or Mac. You follow your creature as it evolves from a single cell organism swimming in the primordial soup, to one of the mightiest empires in the galaxy. This guide is to help you beat this game, as it may be frustrating at times.

Cell Stage

Begin by eating as much food as you can, plant or meat, it does not really matter. When you upgrade add a herbivore mouth to the sides of your creature, it will help you eat plants faster. Keep eating until you have 10 DNA points, when you have enough, go to the creature creator and add spikes next to your carnivore mouth. Every time you have an extra 15 DNA lying about add a flagella so you can go faster. When you reach the time when you can go to land, decide what you want to be, carnivore, or herbivore, if you are one type, you can change it by eating that type of food. This decision will determine your archetype when you get to space stage. I recommend carnivore, as it adds to the total HP of your spaceship.

Creature Stage

When you are in the Cell2Creature (the part where you add legs) discard any extra parts you have, but KEEP THE EXTRA MOUTH! With the extra mouth, you can eat both kinds of food. Start out by going to one of the nests close to yours and befriend/kill them. Keep adding parts and digging up skeletons. When your nest moves go with them and keep following the route until you get to a nest of your own species at the other end of the continent, right next to the water. If you want to kill an epic, equip the ''porcupain'' part and find an epic, lure it into a forest, where it will get stuck in the trees and keep spitting at it until it dies.

Tribal Stage

Set all of your people to collect fruit and train more people until you have six villagers and your weapon or instrument. Befriend or kill the tribe. Repeat until all tribes are dead or your allies.

Civilization Stage

This stage is impossible on hard mode, so do not ask. Build a boat if you are near the ocean, as well as extra tanks, then claim as many spice geysers as possible until the other civilization on your island is founded. Send all of your tanks to destroy it right away. Keep building houses and tanks until you have four cities. When you have four cities, destroy your boats and tanks and build as many airplanes as possible and conquer two more cities. When you have about 68,000 spore bucks you can unleash your super weapon. This will convert all of the other cities to your cause. Be sure to fully upgrade your cities before you go to space stage.

Spore can be very easy at some points, and very hard at others (mostly civilization on hard mode). This guide should make it easier for you to play.
